Brand Identity

The objective of this project was to create a distinctive visual identity for Mount Davraz, a coffee brand inspired by one of Isparta's most iconic natural landmarks. The client wanted the logo to reflect not only the origin of the coffee but also the unique atmosphere that makes Mount Davraz famous, creating a brand with a strong sense of place rather than just another coffee logo.

The concept centres around the breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over Mount Davraz. The mountain silhouette became the foundation of the identity, while the rising sun captures the peaceful mornings and warm evening colours experienced at higher altitudes. Rather than using a generic coffee cup or coffee bean, the logo tells the story of the location itself, giving the brand a memorable identity that immediately connects customers with its origin.

Colour Strategy

Inspired by Nature

The colour palette was carefully selected to recreate the atmosphere of Mount Davraz during sunrise and sunset.

Warm shades of pink, coral and golden yellow represent the changing colours of the sky as the sun rises and sets behind the mountains, while the deep navy blue symbolises both the mountain landscape and the calm atmosphere before dawn. Together, these colours create a warm, inviting identity that reflects the experience visitors associate with the location.

To ensure the logo remains consistent across every application, two versions were developed: one optimised for light backgrounds and another for dark surfaces, allowing the brand to maintain clarity and visual impact across print, packaging and digital media.

A Place Before a Product

Unlike many coffee brands that rely on coffee-related imagery, Mount Davraz is represented through the landscape that gives the brand its identity.

The mountain silhouette and rising sun work together as a recognisable symbol that can eventually stand on its own without requiring additional graphics or supporting elements. This approach gives the brand a timeless, destination-inspired identity while reinforcing its authentic connection to Isparta and Mount Davraz.

The accompanying mock-ups demonstrate how the Mount Davraz identity translates across different branding materials while keeping the logo as the primary visual element.

The coffee cups, carry tray and presentation materials showcase how the identity performs in real-world applications. The clean badge-style emblem remains highly recognisable at different sizes, while the warm colour palette reinforces the welcoming atmosphere associated with enjoying coffee while overlooking the spectacular scenery of Mount Davraz.

By combining geographical heritage, meaningful symbolism and a carefully considered colour palette, the identity creates a memorable coffee brand that celebrates both the product and the landscape that inspired it.
