Catalogue Design
Cover Design
Developed for 6868 Food Services, the 2025/2 Product Catalogue showcases over 418 products across 117 pages, representing the company's most comprehensive catalogue to date. Designed as the successor to the previous editions, the cover adopts a fresh visual direction centred around a traditional British breakfast, immediately communicating the breadth of the foodservice range while creating a warm and inviting first impression.
The composition combines premium food photography with the company's bold red and navy branding, framed by elegant gold detailing to maintain continuity with previous catalogue editions. The result is a cover that feels familiar to returning customers while clearly presenting the publication as a new and expanded edition.
Editorial Layout
Following the cover, the catalogue opens with an About Us section introducing the company before leading into a comprehensive contents page, allowing customers to navigate efficiently through every product category.
The 117-page publication follows the same editorial system developed for previous editions, refined further to accommodate an even larger product range. Product categories alternate between soft yellow and light grey page backgrounds, creating clear visual separation and helping customers identify sections by colour alone. Section headers continue alternating between red and dark blue, reinforcing the company's corporate identity while establishing a consistent rhythm throughout the publication.
This structured approach allows hundreds of products to remain easy to browse without overwhelming the reader, transforming a large catalogue into a practical day-to-day sales tool.
Product Presentation
Featuring more than 418 products, the catalogue was built using a flexible modular grid capable of accommodating products of different sizes while maintaining perfect visual consistency across every page.
Uniform spacing, typography, product photography and pricing layouts ensure customers can quickly compare products while navigating naturally between categories. Careful attention was given to hierarchy and readability, allowing the catalogue to function as both a sales publication and a practical reference guide for wholesalers, restaurants and foodservice professionals.
Marketing Design
Promotional Posters
A new collection of promotional posters was produced alongside the catalogue to support featured brands, seasonal campaigns and product launches throughout the publication.
Many of these campaigns focused on Peppier, one of 6868 Food Services' own brands, including products such as Tortilla Wraps, Baked Beans, Lemon Juice, Pomegranate Dressing and the expanding Peppier Spices range. Since the packaging for many of these products was also developed by me, the promotional artwork maintains complete consistency between the packaging identity and the supporting marketing campaigns.
Additional posters were created for supplier brands, seasonal promotions and featured product ranges, including campaigns celebrating new product launches and foodservice solutions. These advertisements break up the catalogue visually while providing strong marketing opportunities for key brands, transforming the publication from a simple product directory into a fully integrated sales and promotional catalogue.
Production Artwork
Print-Ready Artwork
Complete production artwork was prepared for commercial printing across all 117 pages, including the cover, editorial layouts, promotional advertisements and supporting marketing assets.
Managing a publication containing over 418 products required meticulous organisation to maintain consistent typography, colour management, image quality, page structure and print specifications throughout the project. Every page was delivered as production-ready artwork, ensuring accurate reproduction while maintaining visual consistency across one of the largest editorial projects produced for 6868 Food Services.
